Kyo Portrait

Kyo quit school and started to work as a roadie for the band Kuroyume. The singer of this band, Kiyoharu, became his idol.

When he was 17, he joined his first independent band “Gesshoku” in Kyoto and used the stage name Yoma. This band only existed for about half a year. Then he moved into “Visun” and changed his name to Hotoma. And from “Visun” he moved to ‘MASQUERADE” and from there to “Haijin Kurobarazoku”, Shinya (drums) and Kisaki (bass) also joined in and where he also changed his name to Kyo.

After “Haijin Kurobarazoku” disbanded, the three and Die and Shion (both guitar) formed the band “La:Sadies”. In 1996 Shion left the band and was replaced with Kaoru. 1997 Kisaki left the band, was replaced with Toshiya and together they finally formed Dir en grey

Divya Suvarna

Divya Suvarna, a random maniac, loves drawing, painting, designing and appreciating art in all forms. She is an avid music listener, so much that her headphones are often mistaken for her ears.

When she is not working, she is thinking about her own well being and her cats. She has spent over 10 years learning about nutrition by trial and error on her own self. She loves learning about the history of food, understanding food at its core and having scientific reasoning to debunk food myths. She spends the rest of her day imagining recipes and building nutritious meals for herself.
